Sneakers are a nice casual form of shoes that you can wear around in almost any occasion asides from a formal. A nice pair of sneakers combined with a dark pair of jeans, nice shirt and blazer can easily get you into most night clubs, for example.

Chuck’s

While it is not usually in our interest to actively promote a brand, Chuck’s are so popular now that they are a genre on to themselves. High top, low top, brown, black, white, leather, whatever. The Chuck design is a classic one, and a great match with a pair of jeans or khakis. Additional bonus, they are cheap and comfortable.

Canvas Sneakers

These are the only running-shoe like footwear you can get away with in non-athletic circumstances. Best to wear these only with jeans or chords - too informal for khakis. Canvas shoes are usually distinguishable by a flat and/or rubber sole. Try and avoid having same color laces and shoe. I prefer leather uppers, simply because they appear to last longer and look a bit more classier. Personally, I prefer my pair of Lacostes Carnaby, as they are one of the most comfortable pair of sneakers I have ever worn. Multiple sneakers with various colors is a great way for you to add different looks in your wardrobe.
